The Student Accommodation Code protects your rights to a safe, good quality place to live. It outlines everything you should expect from your university or college accommodation as well as your responsibilities as a tenant. If you feel your accommodation doesn’t meet these high standards, there is a clear process in place to make sure your voice is heard and to put things right.
You can search for your accommodation using the ‘Find your Accommodation’ button on the Home page of this website, or visitwww.acop.ac.uk under ‘Membership’ and ‘Current Member Organisations’.
You should contact your university or college to find out who the accommodation is registered with. Alternatively the local authority may be able to help you.
To make a complaint about non-compliance with The Code, please follow this Student Complaints Policy.
